DigiCam software functions:

• The program offers unlimited hours of recording directly onto your computer's hard drive with digital audio/video compression. Limited only by the size of your hard drive. 20GB or more hard drive recommended.
• Record only when activity is present. Use the Motion Detector mode and when the screen changes (image/pixels change) it will trigger recording for the length of time there is activity.
• Your computer can be configured to call you the minute your computer starts recording with your Motion Detector feature triggered. It will call any phone number you desire, i.e. your pager, cell phone, etc. to notify you.
• You can remotely access the cameras of your computer and see what it's seeing via a laptop or PC with any regular modem, any network type, or via the internet using any web browser. You will get up to 10-15 FPS when viewing your remote site using any dial-up modem (56k modem) and even faster frame rates when using faster connection types, T1, ISDN, DSL lines, etc.
• You can choose how many frames per second you want to record, as well as the image quality! Choosing exactly how many FPS you wish to record is something a Time Lapse VCR cannot do.Your images will be crisp and clear and unlike VHS tapes, your data will not degrade over repeated playback. With its added features of 'Slow Motion, Fast-Track, Time/Date Stamp', viewing is precise and timely.
• Other features that will come in handy are a 12x Zoom function, Password/Lock-out protection, customize individual cameras i.e. if there shouldn't be any activity in a particular cameras view, have that camera call you when triggered while others simply record, send video to a remote PC for video storage (just in case original PC is destroyed), an optional Alarm feature that sounds via your computer speakers when a camera is triggered, Multiplexing abilities - simultaneous Recording and Playback of any camera, an optional 'Digital Watermark' applied during recording to be used in court proceedings, screen size settings of 640x480 per camera (rather than the usual 320x240) and a host of other features!

2. Select Mpeg4 Encoder Viewer and press the Submit button.
3. There will be a request to download the Digicam plugin software. Click YES to download the required software.
4. Select your Internet Connection and Single Window, then press the Submit button.
5. Click on left corner image that looks like 3 attached monitors or squares. Then click on New button. 3 . Type in the following:
   
   Host Name: stargate4
   User Name: user2000
   Password: user2000
   IP Address: 64.220.151.134
   Command Port: 4550
   Data Port: 5550
   Audio Port: 6550
   
6. Click OK.
7. The camera images will appear and it will scan through 2 cameras.
8. You may take a picture by pressing the camera symbol or you may capture an entire real time video session by pressing the video symbol (looks like storage discs). To stop the video session press the stop button (the small square button).
